You have a choice of 2 ways. Paypal. Paypal is an online payment processing company owned by EBay. Very secure, very reliable, very well known. We can send you a check. If you choose this method, there is a $1 processing fee to cover postage, and other overhead. Question / Issue How much can I make? Answer / Solution We can't say exactly, but here's an example of what could happen. The chart below assumes you refer 3 people, and those 3 people refer 3, then those refer 3, through 10 levels, and each referral gets 1000 page views for the month, and the month's RSR is $0.50. Results are not guaranteed. This is just an example of what could happen. Please see terms for full details. Question / Issue What actually counts as a paid page view? Answer / Solution When anyone views any of these pages, it counts as 1 page view for you: your profile page your blog pages view all your friends view all your comments your picture pages if someone views one of your shared layouts When you view any of these pages, it counts as 1 page view. any of your control panel pages, including but not limited to: settings, messaging, friends, referrals, favorites, etc. The following does not count as a page view: Refreshing/reloading a page Any page that's viewed within 3 seconds of the last page doesn't count Question / Issue Will I make more money if I click on ads? Answer / Solution NO! In fact, excessive clicking on ads may cause your account to be deleted. Advertising rates on Yuwie are not based on how many times an ad is clicked. If you see an ad that appeals to you, feel free to click on it, but do not click just to try to get more money. Question / Issue How do I know how many paid page views I'm getting? Answer / Solution In your control panel there are some stats next to your picture. The paid page views are listed under Month Page Views. These are the ones that count. You: is how many times your pages (profiles, pictures, movies, etc) have been viewed PLUS how many personal page views you have accumulated in your control panel area. Referral Views: is how many paid page views your referrals have racked up. These numbers are just so you have a rough estimate of how much activity your referral tree is doing. At the end of each month a full report is generated that shows you how many page views were accumulated on each level for the month. Question / Issue How do I get paid? Answer / Solution We take the revenue we make from advertisers and then we pay a percentage of that back to our users. Answer / Solution The best way to get more page views is to add more content to your profile. Leave comments for friends, upload more pictures, and maintain an active blog. All of this activity will cause more people to view more pages on your profile. The more active you are, the more page views you'll get. Remember, whenever you add something to your profile, all your friends get notified through their friend feed. Question / Issue Do I have to pay taxes on my earnings? Answer / Solution Yuwie does not withhold any taxes from your earnings. We do, however report your earnings to the government. How much taxes, if any, you will owe will depend on a lot of variables. Consult your CPA or tax professional to find out what is required of you. Question / Issue How can I add music to my profile? Answer / Solution Right now Yuwie doesn't have a music section due to royalty issues, but there are a lot of sites out there that allow you to copy and paste code that will allow you to play music on your profile. One of our favorites is: Project Playlist Question / Issue I used one of Yuwie's banners on MySpace and the link doesn't work. How come? Answer / Solution My Space is blocking most links from Yuwie these days. There's not a whole lot we can do about it. Sorry. Question / Issue What is a personal URL? Answer / Solution A personal URL is just a shortcut to get to your profile page. This can be anything you want as long as it only contains numbers and letters. Its best to make it something like a first name, nickname, etc. I.E. http://www.yuwie.com/PERSONALURL Question / Issue Why can't I see my earnings for the current month? Answer / Solution We can't show you the current month's earnings, because the RSR for each month can't be determined until all of the earnings and page views are calculated at the end of the month. Each month's earnings reports will be generated around the 10th of the following month.
